The water has always called to me…
Ever since I was a child I was drawn to the water. I spent most of my days playing in the swamp, ocean, springs, and the occasional rainstorm. Having been born under Cancer with a Pisces moon and other strong water presence in my Natal Chart, there was no doubt I would find my way back to the water over and over again.
I first visited Sulis’ sacred water temple when I was a small girl, and again and again through my teens and twenties. It wasn’t just her sacred spring that called me home, but sacred springs all over the world did. I began to visit springs everywhere I went and collected water from different water sites. In 2012 I made a pilgrimage to Glastonbury. This time I was an Initiated Priestess and Witch so I went with an open heart and came back changed.
From there I began to fiercely practice and research in preparation to begin teaching the mysteries of Water Magic publicly. Not long after I was leading public rituals and my coven was hosting water rituals at Pagan Pride Day, a large pagan event in Phoenix. I lead public Water Rituals and facilitated and coordinated World Wide Water Blessings on the Equinox and Solstices. From there I wrote the 9 Month Water Magic Course officially released to the public in 2016 and soon after wrote Water Witchcraft: Magic and Lore from the Celtic Tradition which focuses on the magical water practices of the Celts and their descendants. I continue to do rituals to heal the water and in services to the Water Goddesses.
Right before I began to write the book, I realized that there was a real need for Water Priestess around the world. There were so many ready and waiting they just needed help getting started. So Water Priestess was officially born in 2016. It took a brief hiatus as I finished up the book and then I went back to working on the Priestess Training which you will find here. There is an urgent need for us to do work and to change the way humanity thinks about water. It is sacred and deserves our reverence. So I have begun to share my revival of the old ways returning to when Water Priestess held water as sacred, tended water temples, and worshiped the Water Goddesses.
This is what flowed forth from years of practice and a lifetime of love for the water. A course that will help you begin to practice as a Water Priestess in your community, but also will help you to serve your community. This is a very short foundation class, by no means is this a one-and-done course. This is just to provide a foundation so that you can practice and bring awareness to this craft. More classes, courses, and instruction is being worked on and will be released several times throughout the coming years. This is a lifetime path, a Priestess is always seeking to learn and grow. I recommend seeking out a Water Priestess from the directory or taking a course with me to continue your education. The 9 month Water Magic Course is a deep and comprehensive course and will complement the Water Priestess Training well. Please consider joining me for both!
The water is continually teaching us and shaping us, wearing away layers, and exposing our true nature. Thank you for joining me on this path. Thank you for your service to the Water and Water Spirits.
